Lee Ford

Sadie interviews interesting people for Socially-Distant Networking, and today's conversation is with the Lee Ford.

Lee Ford is a Paralympian in the sport of archery, with the Paralympics being the second largest sporting event in the world, right after the Olympics. She has a disability called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, or EDS, which is a connective tissue malformation disorder. Despite this, Lee is an accomplished dancer from ballet to belly dance, one of the first female fire performers in the Southeast United States and a martial artist in the EBMAS system, Wing Tzun Kung Fu as taught by Sifu Emin Boztepe and Filipino Escrima taught by Grandmaster Rene Latosa. Lee was a long time member of Team USA and has competed at World Champion ships, Para Pan Am Games, Para Pan American Championships, the Indoor World Cup series and the Outdoor World Cup. She's also an artist with a degree in Fine Art specializing in three dimensional design, textiles including costume design and silversmithing.
