Sadie interviews interesting people for Socially-Distant Networking, and today's conversation is with Am Taylor.

Singer-songwriter and guitarist Am Taylor is embarking on a bold new chapter in her prolific career, emerging as a vibrant solo artist after years of fronting successful indie/psych rock ensembles. Taylor is best known as the founding member and front-woman of the Sexual Side Effects (SSE), which formed in Atlanta in 2011 and released its debut album, High Maintenance, that same year. Over the ensuing decade, Taylor and SSE shared stages with the likes of Fuel, Royal Bliss, the Georgia Satellites, Girl in a Coma, Electric Six, Hunter Valentine and many more. She was also a touring guitarist for Brother Grey, and recently began writing songs with punk legend Jayne County for a new forthcoming project. For her solo efforts, she's tapped veteran rock producer Andy Reilly (The Cult, Iron Maiden, Gary Numan) and a host of talented players, to help her execute her creative vision. Instead of releasing this new material as an LP, Taylor plans to issue a new track roughly each month this year, while assembling a stage lineup for upcoming live performances. It's truly a new dawn, filled with exciting possibilities, for this uniquely engaging, musically emboldened artist.

Sadie interviews interesting people for Socially-Distant Networking, and The Enrichment Project founder Christy Smith is fascinating. Christy revels in music from around the world, rejoicing in any chance to dance – even those 45 seconds alone in an elevator. You might say she moves to live, writes to understand, and breathes to get by. A passion for the tarot began with her grandmother's training at an early age, and she has deepened her journeying practice through shamanic and reiki training. In 2011, pursuing her creative muse through mazes real and imagined, Christy asked a group of women to participate in The Enrichment Project. Polishing their stories into radical rituals for creative living is altering her path through this labyrinth called life.
